Guardians 2 Out of Playoff Race Thursday, August 11th , 2039 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians 2. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Guardians 2 manager Nestor Corredor said. The Guardians 2 have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 19 years as a Dominican Rookie League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 8th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2031. In the last 10 seasons, the Guardians 2 have made the playoffs 2 times. |
