Ortega Belts 5 Hits Friday, September 2nd , 2039 It was a sensational day at the plate for Octavio Ortega as he led the charge to a nifty 11-5 win over the Grizzlies. The Stockton third baseman was pure misery for the Fresno pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Ortega put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Kyle Tucker, manager for the Grizzlies, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Octavio Ortega hit a three-run home run off Alex Padron in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
