Red-Hot Robinson Scorches Dash Wednesday, May 31st , 2045 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Tyler Robinson -- a 6-hit effort. He went on a rampage at The Lamppost and paced the 12-4 Mothmen win over the Winston-Salem Dash. After his dynamite batting performance, the Point Pleasant shortstop told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 6 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Tyler Robinson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Thus far in 2045, Robinson is hitting .333 with 2 home runs, 12 RBIs, 14 runs scored and has compiled a .349 OBP. View Boxscore |
