Season Possibly Over for Jonathan Bahena Sunday, August 21st , 2039 It took the Vancouver team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Jonathan Bahena won't simply play through a ruptured bicep tendon after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Emeralds-Canadians game. At first, it looked like Bahena might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 6-7 months. To date this season, Bahena has a record of 1 win and 4 losses and a 7.98 ERA. He has appeared in 16 games and struck out 26 in 29.1 innings. |
