The 23-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 12-2 Sea Dogs triumph over Hartford. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Morales said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Danny Morales singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
