Great May Gets Mendoza AAA W Best Hitter Award Wednesday, June 1st , 2039 Juan Mendoza is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Round Rock third baseman joined that select company when the Triple-A West announced the results of May's voting. Mendoza totaled 28 hits, 8 walks, 11 home runs, 22 RBIs and 19 runs scored last month to put together a .308 batting average and .385 on-base percentage. Mendoza has collected 37 hits for the Express this year, 12 of them home runs. He has also netted 29 RBIs and scored 23 runs while batting .248. |
