Cubs Shores Gone for Year Wednesday, July 27th , 2039 Chase Shores has to call it a season. The Iowa Cubs starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Nashville Sounds and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Shores was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 8-9 months. |
