Great Stroke: Moreno Gets 5 Hits Saturday, June 17th , 2045 Even as a kid, Luis Moreno said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At CHS Field, Moreno showed how well he learned that lesson. The 27-year-old left fielder had 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Omaha Storm Chasers, helping his team knock off the St. Paul Saints by a score of 11-6. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Luis Moreno doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run double in the 7th.
