Week's Premier Player: Gwinnett's Buckles Monday, June 12th , 2045 The premier performer in the Triple-A East this week was Daniel Buckles of the Gwinnett Stripers. The hot-hitting 24-year-old left fielder put up a .565 average and .593 on-base percentage, piling up 13 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the AAA E Player of the Week honors. Thus far this year, Buckles is batting .319 with 6 home runs, 38 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
