Pacheco Booms 3 out of the Park Saturday, August 12th , 2045 It was a good day for the Houston Astros and an exceptional one for Tony Pacheco. The 29-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Astros beat the Kansas City Royals, 12-6, at Minute Maid Park. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Pacheco said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats.
