Astros Thomassen and Royals Campos Suspended for Fight Saturday, August 12th , 2045 Erik Thomassen of Houston and Danny Campos of Kansas City were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Thomassen will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Campos was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. So far this season, Thomassen has recorded a .258 batting average with 117 hits, 29 home runs, 76 RBIs, 72 runs scored and a .347 OBP. In 25 starts this season, Campos has gathered 8 wins while suffering 9 losses. He has pitched 136 innings, allowed 142 hits, struck out 154 and has a 5.36 ERA. |
