Rangers End Hampton Streak Thursday, July 7th , 2039 Tim Hampton's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 20 games, as the Houston Astros dropped their contest with the Texas Rangers, 2-1, at Globe Life Field. Hampton failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Hampton spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Thus far this year, Hampton is hitting .240 with no home runs, 18 RBIs and 45 runs scored. |
