5-for-5 Game for McCray
|
Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Jeremiah McCray walloped 5 hits in 5 at-bats for the Richmond Flying Squirrels in a career day at UPMC Park, but it was the Erie SeaWolves who won the ballgame, 10-7.
"My swing was really, really there," McCray said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-5 and losing is better than 0-for-5 and losing, right?"
