Pinos goes 3-for-3 to Power Nationals Offense
The Washington Nationals powered past the Atlanta Braves, 9-2, at Nationals Park. Ernie Pinos provided some of the pop. He was 3 for 3 with 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Washington pitcher Joaquin Carabajal got the win. He's now 3-3. Joel Grajeda was tagged with the loss. The Nationals have now won 4 straight.

With Washington leading 4-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Pinos batted against Atlanta pitcher Joel Grajeda. Pinos hit a curveball to right-center for a bases-clearing double. His 34th double of the season put the Nationals on top, 7-0.

"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Pinos told the Washington Today.
