Gallegos Leads Angels to 4-3 Win Over Vipers
Getting a good performance from designated hitter Mario Gallegos, the Los Angeles Angels defeated the Las Vegas Vipers, 4-3. Gallegos went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Angels. Tommy Finnegan converted his 23rd save in 26 tries. With the win, the Angels hiked their record to 84-59.

With Los Angeles leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Gallegos came up to bat against Las Vegas pitcher Brandon Young. Gallegos hit a sinker to left for a 2-run double. His 63rd double of the season put the Angels on top, 3-0.

"I just tried to make good contact," said Gallegos.
