Reds Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Washington Nationals went down to defeat to Daniel Ortiz and his Cincinnati teammates. The final score was 3-2, Reds, in 12 innings. The win belonged to Jaden Agassi in relief. His record improves to 6-2. Jim Runyon took the loss for Washington. With the victory, the Reds record stands at 78-58.
Ricky McMillion had a direct impact on the outcome. McMillion contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 12th inning to put Cincinnati up, 3-2.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Ortiz.
