Red Sox Prevail, 8-6, Over Houston
|
Boston right fielder Estevan Rosa played a vital role in his team's 8-6 conquest of Houston. He went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Boston. Jon Rivera collected his 3rd save. The loss makes Houston 69-58.
Edwin Servin had a big 3-run home run for the Red Sox in the bottom of the first inning. With Boston trailing 1-0 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he sized up a sinker from Jesus Ortiz, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2036 draft, and punished it. The result was his 21st home run of the season, which put the Red Sox on top, 3-1.
"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Boston skipper Shane RedSox.
