Starting pitcher Ramon Valle pitched well enough to help the New Orleans Voodoo beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 6-3. New Orleans occupies 4th place in the National League Central Division at 60-64.
Tony Roark, who finished 2nd in the NL in RBI with 129 in 2041, contributed to the New Orleans win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
