A 5-RBI performance from the 11-time All-Star Mario Gallegos helped the Los Angeles Angels beat the Texas Rangers, 6-5. Los Angeles pitcher Josh Shuman got the win, upping his record to 5-1. Rich McCloud got the loss. The Rangers, at 51-61, have lost 6 in a row.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Los Angeles trailing 5-2, Gallegos jumped on a changeup from 28-year old left-handed pitcher Rich McCloud and hit a grand slam home run to left. With one swing, the Angels had a walk-off win.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Gallegos said in his postgame press conference.
