The New York Yankees topped the Seattle Mariners, 7-4, in 14 innings at T-Mobile Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of New York pitcher Dave Baber. Earning his 1st save of the year was Sean Hall. New York now sports a record of 34-45.
Robby Wright, who is a three-time All-Star, took Seattle hurler Andy Mundy deep in the top of the 14th. His 3-run home run put the Yankees on top, 7-4. In all, Wright had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 7.
