Texas Gets 4-3 Win Versus Seattle in 12
|
Texas starter Danny Campos pitched well against the Seattle Mariners at Globe Life Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3, in 12 innings. Mitch Carey was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Mike Heideman. Seattle's current losing streak is now 4 games.
Texas got a clutch hit from Ismael Cisneros. The left fielder socked a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was game-ender.
"Took some scratching and clawing," said Campos. "But we got it done."
