The Texas Rangers downed the Seattle Mariners, 4-0, at T-Mobile Park. Texas pitcher Mel Santana definitely brought his A-game. Victor Figueroa earned the save for Texas, his 1st. The Rangers now have a record of 22-42.

The Rangers got a big at-bat from center fielder Raul Nava. For the game, Nava went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Texas a 2-0 lead.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Seattle manager Jared Mariners. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
